Hey! I’m Lauren, a current student at Loyola University Chicago studying advertising and public relations. But I’m not just about the analytics and crafting campaigns, I love art. In pursuit of a more holistic understanding of art, I’ve committed to minor in both art history and visual communication. It’s in these studies that I work to connect to the world creatively. In attempts to broaden my creative outlets, a lot of my time is spent in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Whether it’s coming up with new graphics or fine-tuning an image, I’ve dedicated time to these skills.
Besides fawning over art, I have a passion for culture, both past and present. I’ve spent five years studying German and have recently started learning French. I find that it’s important to have different ways of connecting with people, linguistically or not. When I’m not studying, you can find me in any museum. It’s through going to various museums that one can see stories connect and the broader message appears.
Being a student, I greatly value personal growth and self-improvement. I thrive in collaborative environments, being able to share ideas and innovate with those around me is incredibly important. After working with youth groups, I understand the importance of forming connections with your peers and having open dialogue.
At heart, I’m a dedicated and creative individual who constantly looks for new ways to connect with society. My ambition is to be able to blend these passions into an enriching career in advertising and public relations.
